These units are for layouts where simple track occupation and/or block signalling is required.  They are bi-directional in operation and can detect moving or stationary locomotives or coaches with lighting or track circuiting facilities.   Supplied in small boxes with screw mounting lugs, connections are by screw terminal blocks. Operated from a 9-15 volts ‘smoothed’ DC auxiliary supply.
